2. Meta (Facebook) Pixel & Advertising
Our website and specific landing pages use the "Meta Pixel" provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. This allows us to track user behavior after they have been redirected to our website by clicking on a Facebook or Instagram ad.
Purpose: This process is used to evaluate the effectiveness of Facebook advertisements for statistical and market research purposes and can help optimize future advertising campaigns (e.g., verifying if a user viewed a playlist page).
Data Processing: The data collected is anonymous to us, meaning we cannot see the personal data of individual users. However, this data is stored and processed by Meta, which may link this information to your Facebook account and also use it for its own promotional purposes, in accordance with Meta’s Data Usage Policy.
4. Smart Links & Redirect Tracking
We use internal "Smart Links" (landing pages) to direct users to music services like Spotify.
What we track: When you click on a "Play" button on our landing pages, we record the timestamp, your country of origin (based on IP), and the specific playlist accessed.
Privacy Measure: To prevent duplicate counting while protecting your privacy, we generate an anonymized "Hash" (Fingerprint) consisting of your IP address, User Agent, and the current date. This hash is irreversible and does not allow us to identify you personally. The raw IP address is not stored permanently in our database.
5. Self-Hosted Analytics
We use a proprietary, self-hosted analytics solution to improve our website performance. Unlike third-party tools (e.g., Google Analytics), your data remains on our servers in Switzerland/Europe and is not shared with advertising networks.
We collect anonymized metrics such as page views, button clicks, referral sources, and device types to understand our audience. IP addresses are anonymized or used solely for rough geolocation (Country/City level) and are not stored in plain text.
6. Paid Submissions & Payments (Stripe)
When you submit a song via our platform, you are paying a consideration fee (Curation Fee). This fee compensates our team exclusively for the time and effort spent listening to, analyzing, and reviewing your submitted material.
5.1 No Guarantee of Placement
Payment of the submission fee does not guarantee that your song will be added to any playlist or shared on our networks. The decision to include a track is based solely on artistic merit and editorial discretion.
5.2 No Refunds & Right of Withdrawal
All submission fees are non-refundable. By clicking "Submit" and completing the payment, you expressly agree that we may begin performing the service (reviewing your track) immediately. Consequently, you lose your right of withdrawal once the service has commenced. A rejection constitutes a completed service.
5.3 Payment Processing
Payments are processed securely via Stripe, Inc. We do not store your credit card details on our servers. All payment data is encrypted and handled directly by Stripe.
7. Submission Data
When you submit a song, we collect:
- Your Email Address (strictly for communication regarding your submission).
- Song Metadata (Title, Artist, Spotify Link).
- Transaction IDs (for payment verification).
We use this information solely to process your submission. We do not sell this data to third parties.
8. Spotify Integration
We use Spotify APIs and widgets to display music content. When you interact with Spotify content on our site, data may be transferred to Spotify AB. Please refer to Spotify's Privacy Policy. We are independent curators and not affiliated with Spotify AB.
