Ava Della Pietra – happy for you (acoustic)

It's hard to be happy for you when she's the only one you see. That line is what decided it.

Ava Della Pietra's "happy for you (acoustic)" is stripped back, with nothing to hide behind, and it hits harder for that. The other lines we have stay in the same place: "it's hard for me biting my tongue" and "all that I know is you and me." The acoustic recording does not put anything between those words and the listener. There is nothing to hide behind, which is the reason this version hits harder.

We approved it and added it to Cozy Indie & Folk on 2 October 2026, the same day the recording was released. It sits with the indie-folk and acoustic songs on that playlist. The tags it came in with were sad indie, acoustic version, and indie folk, and they match the take: a direct lyric, stripped back, nothing dressed up.

The credit is Ava Della Pietra. The title is "happy for you (acoustic)." This Song of the Day post stays with that. The line that decided it is the one quoted above, the recording is the acoustic version, and the playlist it was added to is Cozy Indie & Folk. The YouTube Short and the Spotify embed below are that same song, and the playlist card links to the Cozy Indie & Folk page.
