Anna Leanne – blind
Think I was blind. The truth was hard to see. Was I lying to myself or were you lying to me?
Anna Leanne's blind is a heartbreak pop song about a November breakup and the truth that was hard to see. From the 17-year-old German singer-songwriter, released on SOFT RIOT RECORDS and added to POP NEWS by UNIQUE.
"We broke up in November, act like you don't remember." Anna Leanne opens "blind" with the breakup already behind her, and the song is about what comes after: the old picture she shouldn't keep, and the moment the world seems to change in a blink.
Then the chorus asks the question the whole song turns on: "Think I was blind, the truth was hard to see. Was I lying to myself or were you lying to me?" The second verse keeps looking back ("Winter felt like forever, like we skipped over summer"), until the bridge lands on "I must have been blind… now I changed my mind."
Anna Leanne is a 17-year-old singer-songwriter from Germany, and "blind" came out on 16 October 2026 on SOFT RIOT RECORDS, written by Annalena Moedel, Florian Krahe and Ignacio Uriarte and produced by Florian Krahe. An official lyric video is on her YouTube channel. We added it to POP NEWS by UNIQUE on 17 October.
That is why it is Song of the Day. An honest heartbreak song with a chorus that asks exactly the question you ask yourself after it's over.
