Tejas – Ribcage
Got you through your ribcage, never know to leave it alone
Tejas' Ribcage is a loud, guitar-driven rock single from the Mumbai songwriter, with a chorus made for shouting back. Added to ROCK NEWS by UNIQUE.
"Go say what you want to me, I don't break easily." Tejas opens "Ribcage" like someone who has already heard every insult and decided not to flinch.
The verses keep score (egos getting fatter, table manners lost), and then the chorus hits: "Got you through your ribcage, never know to leave it alone." Distorted guitars, a big drum sound and a vocal that stays melodic instead of screaming. Music and lyrics are by Tejas, and it was recorded at Island City Studios in Mumbai, co-produced with his bandmates Jehangir Jehangir and Adil Kurwa.
The single came out on 2 October 2026 together with the B-side "Perchance To Dream", the official video landed on his YouTube channel the same week, and we added it to ROCK NEWS by UNIQUE on 4 October.
That is why it is Song of the Day. A rock single with a stadium-sized chorus that you can shout along to after one listen.
