colby! – Hello

"Took some wrong steps at the right time." Somehow, those steps led right here.

"Hello" by colby! is alt-pop with teeth. It has the hooks of a pop song, but it does not sand off the edges. That line is the heart of it: the mistakes were part of the route, and the song sounds glad it took it.

The track came out on 18 September 2026. We approved it and added it to ROCK NEWS by UNIQUE on 1 October 2026. Our rock playlist usually leans on guitars and grit. This one earns its place with energy and attitude rather than distortion alone, and it sits comfortably next to the louder songs around it.

That is why it is Song of the Day. A chorus that sticks, a lyric that turns wrong turns into something worth celebrating, and an artist with a clear sound of their own.
